After a five-year residential stint in Seoul, Korea, Soko Glam founder and native Californian Charlotte Cho transformed her obsession with cosmetics into a passion project. Charlotte created Soko Glam in 2012 with the help of her co-founder and husband Dave in order to help Western customers discover Korean cosmetics, beauty trends, and skincare regimens.
Charlotte scours the market, looking for only the best and most popular products to bring to the U.S., personally testing and reviewing every single item that crosses her path. She has shared her 10 Step Korean Skincare routine and knowledge of Korean beauty products in the pages of The New York Times, Elle, Allure, Glamour, Into the Gloss, Teen Vogue and more, helping women adapt the Korean “skincare-first”
philosophy to their own daily routines.
Since Soko Glam’s launch, Charlotte has received
countless positive responses from men and women
whose skin conditions have changed for the better.
Charlotte is the author of the forthcoming book, The Little Book of Skincare: Korean Beauty Secrets for Healthy, Glowing Skin (William Morrow) available November 2015. She currently resides in Manhattan and is a licensed esthetician.
Meet the Team
Rambo might have been the runt of the litter, but his previous owner felt that the pup needed a strong name. Rambo the poodle has traveled around the globe from Seoul to New York City with Charlotte and Dave and he’s one of the most loyal dogs around. Rambo loves long runs through Central Park and playing (endless) games of fetch. His key role is providing the team with moral support when burning the midnight oil. Good boy, Rambo.
