The Little Book of Skin Care book launch party recap

November 12, 2015 THE KLOG

It seemed like a whirlwind last night at our launch party for The Little Book of Skin Care. Thanks so much to everyone who came out! It was a blast and a great way to celebrate all the hard work that came into willing The Little Book of Skin Care into being. It may be little, but BOY is it a lot of work to bring a book from concept to reality. If that’s not worth a party, what is?

The treats from Mok Bar were so delicious, as was Milkmade’s patbingsu-flavored ice cream. What more could you ask for than great tunes, yummy snacks, and oh yeah—tons of beauty products! It wouldn’t be a Soko Glam party without some major beauty talk.

Our host, Charlotte, laid out all her favorite beauty products of the moment. Park Tae Yun of Son & Park did an excellent demonstration of the signature dewy, "no-makeup makeup" look on model Maja Brodin, and Pucker dolled everyone up with a gradient lip look, using Son & Park's lip cubes and lip crayons. Gemma Correll, The Little Book of Skin Care's illustrator, shared her #sokosecret with us, with the cutest doodle on our chok chok wall.

It was such a great evening and hopefully everyone who was able to attend is enjoying their goodie bag of skin care treats and signed copies of The Little Book of Skin Care. Now, onto the party photos!

The book-signing—it's been so much fun hearing your feedback on the book, your skin care stories and meeting all of you!

It's Gemma Correll—she's the illustrator of all LBSC's fabulous drawings and also these adorable photo booth props here!

So honored to have Park Tae Yun attend our party. He flew all the way from South Korea to celebrate with us!

Team Soko Glam! What an amazing time we all had!
