Links We Love: #FBF to The Little Book of Skin Care's Launch Party

November 27, 2015 THE KLOG
In case you couldn’t make it, our launch party for The Little Book of Skin Care was a blast! Here’s a little snippet of the party, courtesy of Frame Studios. And if you were there, keep a close eye because you might spot yourself or your friends! Our mouths are watering, just looking at all the treats again!

One Vice writer recounts her experience growing up Korean-American and celebrating Chuseok, the Korean version of Thanksgiving that happens in September. It was one of the writer’s biggest ties back to her heritage. In this essay there’s a little Chuseok history, but mostly we love this writer’s journey into discovering the traditions of her own heritage. She writes about taking a Chuseok cooking class, learning to fold songpyeon—little rice cakes filled with honey, sugar, and sesame—and gathering friends and family to participate in all the Chuseok field games!
Not sure just how to use your 10-step skin care routine? Luckily beauty pro, Morgan, of The Beauty Breakdown gives you the perfect tutorial using Soko Glam’s 10-step skin care set for dry skin. You get to see some of our best-sellers in action and a whole lot of Morgan’s beautiful skin. Whether your skin is normal, oily, combination or dry, you can use the same steps and just swap out products as you see fit (Morgan explains everything, btw) but if you weren’t sure how to apply any of those products, here you go!

We love sharing things we love with you! Check back every Friday for some of our favorite picks. P.S. Follow THE KLOG with Bloglovin!
