Links We Love: Star Wars Holiday Beauty Looks

December 18, 2015 THE KLOG

Holiday Beauty From A Galaxy Far Far Away...

Holiday beauty is all well and good, but considering the newest Star Wars film, The Force Awakens, is hitting theaters smack-dab during holiday season, we did a double-take after editorial makeup artist, Pat McGrath, created six beauty looks inspired by characters in the film using CoverGirl’s Star Wars Collection (with tutorials, natch). This vision of a shiny dewy Droid takes chok-chok to a galaxy far far away.

“Apple” Isn’t Just For Body Shape Anymore, Apparently

We all know the importance of maintaining your under-eye area—neglecting it can leave you with a bunch of signals your body is misgiving about how much sleep you’ve had exactly. That said, what about the surrounding areas, otherwise known as your “apple zone?” According to this Allure story, your apple zone is the area between your under-eye and cheek, another area susceptible to the consequences of gravity. So, while this means more cute sheet masks for us, it does make us awfully more confused about all these facial zones to keep track of.

A K-Pop Christmas

Nothing says holidays like a good “Christmas special” and with that, a K-Pop Christmas special. For instance—Here’s K-pop group, SNSD’s take on what we’ve pretty much nominated as THE Christmas song of the 21st century, Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas.” Not bothering to mess with translation, the girls of SNSD sing the whole song in its native tongue with matching Ms.Claus outfits to boot. Because it wouldn’t be Christmas without a little Jingle Bell Rock couture, this side of the millennium, now would it?
