After a hectic day of following my 10 month old crawler all I look forward to the end of the day is a warm bed and of course, to leave my face clean and hydrated. With my skin being a bit dry with patches here and there, it would only be reasonable that the most important part of my evening skin care routine would be the very last step, moisturize.
When I heard about the Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail cream I was a little taken back because, you know, the snail part. When you think snails you think a sticky gross mess, but I had heard so many good things about this moisturizer that I had to try it.
The moisturizer is the last step in my routine so after I’m done with everything it’s time to dab this bad boy onto my face. It comes in a beautiful gold container and comes with a little spatula so that you can take out what you’re going to use and not contaminate the rest with your fingers. You put it on and let it work wonders on your face overnight or in the morning as well.
This cream has 70% snail mucin (sounds gross but it’s not) that helps regenerate and firm skin cells while hydrating. It’s free of parabens, dyes and minerals which make it good for even sensitive skin. It is a gel like consistency cream with a very pleasant light scent.
I use it every night and I can see the difference it has made. It goes on so smoothly and quickly absorbs onto the skin with a few pats. Remember that a small amount goes a long way. I usually use about a dime size dab for my whole face. I find the little spatula helpful for calculating the amount I want to use.
So far this has been amazing on my skin. My skin looks a whole lot better. I don’t have the dry patches that I used to before and I wake up with super soft, smooth and glowing skin. I had tried other things before but this definitely has worked for me. It smells great, it’s refreshing and works wonders on my skin. I can definitely feel the difference when I touch and see my face.
I had also tried other moisturizers before and they didn’t do much hydration. All they did was irritate my skin and make it even drier. That’s why I was hectically looking for something that worked and did what it was supposed to. This cream had definitely been it.
Even in the mornings when I feel like my skin needs a little boost I add this right before my SPF. It helps add the hydration that my face needs to go on through the day.
So, if hydration is what you’re face needs this is definitely for you. It’s one of the top products on my list, I hope it makes it into yours.
