Q - What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Paypal, and Amazon Payment.

For orders outside of the U.S., we recommend using PayPal or Amazon Payments, especially if the card issuing bank is not US-based.


Q - How do I use my E-Gift Card?

Good news--it’s super easy. Retrieve your E-Gift Card via email. Enclosed in the email is a gift card code which you can apply at Checkout. Enter this code into the field on the top right, above your cart total. Once you hit 'Apply', the amount on your gift card will be deducted from your cart total.

You can use multiple E-Gift Card codes in one transaction and E-Gift Card Codes can be combined with a discount code. Sweet!


Q - How do I apply my Discount Code?

Discount codes can be applied to your order at Checkout. Enter your discount code into the field on the top right, above your cart total. Once you hit 'Apply' your discount will be deducted from your cart total and you can continue on to payment method.

Please note that only one discount code can be applied per order. Discount codes cannot be combined with any other promotions or offers.


Q - Can I get some samples?

Yes! In fact, you get a free sample with every purchase.

We do not accept requests for additional samples. However, we periodically run promotions and sample offers, so be sure to stay tuned on our Instagram and newsletter for updates! You can also check out our Promo page for the full list of current promotions.

Q - I want to refer my friends to Soko Glam! How do I do that?

Q - I'm placing an order as a gift, how do I make sure no prices are shown in the order?

That's great, we hope your friends and family enjoy the gift of good skin! Not to worry, no prices are ever shown in any packages we send out. 

 

Q - I want to give my friend a Gift Card, how will it be sent to them?

Soko Glam Gift Cards come in the form of an E-Gift Card and are sent via email. We suggest you put in your own email address at checkout. By doing so, you will receive an order confirmation email and the E-Gift Card. Once you receive the E-Gift Card, you have the option to print or email it forward to your friend with you own personal message. 

 

Q - Is the product I received expired?

No, and here’s why. Korean products are traditionally labeled with a manufacturing date instead of an expiry date and have a shelf-life of two to three years from this date, depending on each individual product and brand. So don't be alarmed if you receive a product stamped with a date prior to your actual purchase date -- we value our customers and will never sell expired products just to make a sale!

As K-Beauty expands further into the Western market, some brands have begun printing the expiration date instead of manufacturing date. Please check the characters in front of the dates to be sure:

제조 means "manufactured on"

까지 means "good until"

Q - Are the products on Soko Glam 100% authentic?

Glad you asked -- Absolutely! At Soko Glam, we take pride in bringing our customers only the highest quality of Korean beauty. We stand by this promise to do so with every product and this is at the heart of our company.

Every single product you see on Soko Glam is first put through a rigorous test to guarantee their safety, efficacy and authenticity. This includes internal testing, working directly with each brand, never purchasing from third parties and ensuring all products go through the FDA approval process. For this reason, you can be assured that whenever you are purchasing from Soko Glam, you are always getting 100% genuine products direct from the brands in Korea, and they are all coming from legitimate and safe channels.

We do our best to get to everyone as soon as possible -- this usually means within 1-2 business days (Monday to Friday, not including Holidays). Q - When will my Soko Glam order ship?

We process and ship out all orders Monday through Friday, not including holidays. Orders with standard shipping will usually be fulfilled and shipped on the next business day (Monday through Friday, not including holidays). We know, we’re as fast as lightning!

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking information enclosed. Please note that it may take up to 24-48 hours for your tracking information to update.

Q - Where will my Soko Glam order ship from and how long will it take for my order to arrive?

All Soko Glam orders are shipped out of the US. Orders will standard shipping usually take 3-5 business days from the day it ships to arrive to its final destination.

Q - Do I qualify for free shipping?

We are happy to offer free shipping on all US orders of $35USD or more! To qualify, the subtotal of the order must reach $35USD -- this means after all discounts have been applied and before taxes have been added.

Q - Do you charge domestic sales tax?

Domestic sales tax will be applied to all orders shipped to New York and Massachusetts.

Absolutely! We currently ship Soko Glam orders from the U.S. to the following countries:

Q - What duties and fees are involved when shipping to my country?

Duties and fees may be applied to your order in accordance with your country’s customs laws.

For Australia and New Zealand: No duties or fees will be applied to your order at checkout or upon delivery. Your order will be delivered straight to your door.

For Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK: Taxes will be applied to your order at checkout. Your order will be delivered straight to your door.

For India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Norway, Switzerland, Singapore: Duties and fees will be applied to your order upon delivery. You may be responsible for picking up your order at your local customs or postal office.  

Soko Glam is not responsible for any duties and fees that may be mandated by customs upon delivery (customs $ value will be annotated as the full value of all products - discounts are not considered in the customs total value).

Please also note that Soko Glam does not have any control over these charges and cannot estimate the amount. These charges are imposed by each country’s respective government and customs policies vary widely from country to country.

Unfortunately, we aren’t able to expedite shipping for international orders.

Q - Do you offer free International shipping?

We offer Free Standard Shipping to Canada for orders of $75 or more!

To qualify, Canadian customers need to reach $75USD after all discounts have been applied and before taxes and duties.

Q - How much will it cost to ship to my country?

Your shipping cost will depend on the weight of your package and will be calculated at checkout before you place your order. Please note that no international order can exceed a weight of 8 pounds. Shipping costs are subject to change without notice. 

Cancellations, Returns & Damages

Q - Can I make changes to or cancel my order?

We at Soko Glam work hard to help you get your orders as fast as possible. So as soon as the payment is accepted and the order is confirmed, it is immediately in process to be shipped. This means there is only a very small window of time where we can “catch” your order before it is physically picked, packed and set aside for shipping.

This unfortunately means NO changes can be made to your order once it is placed. There may however be time to cancel your order all together so you can start fresh. Please email us at hello@sokoglam.com as soon as possible with the subject line "Cancellation" and your full name and order number. We’ll let you know what we can do!  


Q - What is your return policy?

We’re sorry you didn’t love your new products! We want you to love your experience with Soko Glam and K-beauty as much as possible, which is why we’re here to help. Just send us an email at hello@sokoglam.com with your order number and the name of the product(s) you didn't love.

Unfortunately, we are unable to refund your original shipping charges, and we do not offer exchanges on any of our products. All single opened sheet masks are final sale. 

Soko Glam can only accept returns for products purchased on our website (http://www.sokoglam.com). Products purchased from pop-up brick-and-mortar locations must be returned to the location of purchase, in accordance to the location’s own return policy.


Q - Can I exchange a product?

We do not offer direct exchanges on any of our products.

Q - An item in my order was damaged in transit! What do I do?

 Q - What is the 10-step Korean Skin Care Routine?

It’s the secret to getting the most amazing skin of your life. The 10-step Korean Skin Care Routine is the skin care regimen that includes thoroughly cleansing, exfoliating, treating, intensely hydrating, and applying SPF during the day. This regimen was inspired by women in Korea who are experts in taking care of their skin from an early age. To learn more, click here.

Do I need to follow all 10-steps? Do I have to use Korean products?

No, following all 10-steps is optional and only you know what’s best for your skin. While Korean women are dedicated to their skincare and believe in the layering technique, you should choose what works for your unique skin type. The use of exclusively Korean products is also optional. It’s a good idea to start with the most essential products that will make a dramatic difference and gradually incorporate additional steps to your routine.

Q - I’m a total K-Beauty novice, what do I need to know to get started?

The first thing to know is that every person’s skin is unique, so skin care (Korean or not) is very personal and all about finding out what works best for you. This means skin care is very much a trial-and-error process and there really isn’t a foolproof way to get it right the first time. It’s also important to note that your skin is always changing so your skin care needs will also change over time.

Q - How do I know what my skin type is?

We know sometimes this can be a tricky thing to figure out, particularly when skin can change over time! Here are some loose guidelines to better understand the signs associated with your skin. You can also find out a couple tricks trusted dermatologists tell their clients to use to figure out their skin type on The Klog.

Q - What is the Double Cleanse?

The two-step cleansing method that is pure magic for your skin. The Double Cleanse starts with an oil cleanser followed by a water-based cleanser. You need two different formulas to properly and thoroughly cleanse your face every day, in the morning and at night.

Q - My new products are breaking me out! Why is this happening?

Your skin could be going through a period of ‘purging’, which is a term used to describe the adjustment period your skin goes through when you’re using a new product. You can read more about it on The Klog here.

Skin care is all about trial and error and the only sure way to find out what is right for your skin is simply to try them out one by one. Whenever introducing new products into your current skincare routine, try only one or two new products at a time and gradually incorporate them into your skin care routine. This way, you know the exact effects of the product, and you help your skin adjust to the new product.

But if irritation continues, you might be allergic to one or more of the ingredients, in which case you should stop using the product!

Q - Why is Alcohol found in several products on Soko Glam?

Great question! Alcohol or Alcohol Denat is found in many cosmetic products and has a variety of purposes in cosmetics. It acts as an anti-foaming agent, astringent, antimicrobial agent, and a solvent. It also helps deliver the active ingredients of a product and make products absorb and dry faster on the skin. It is not a harmful ingredient to the skin and is particularly beneficial for those with oily and/or acne-prone skin type.

Q - How should I apply my treatment products?

A good rule of thumb is to apply treatment products (essence, serum, ampoules, booster, etc) in order of their viscosity, so that the most lightweight, fluid products go on first.

Q - If I use whitening products, will my skin tone literally change shades?

No. We do not sell any products with bleaching or whitening ingredients. Products with names or descriptions that include the word “whitening” simply mean 'brightening,’ and they help even out your skin tone and brighten your overall complexion. Your skin will not literally turn 'white'. Check out this article on The Klog for more details!

Q - What products are unsafe for me to use while I am pregnant/nursing?

The general consensus is that topical skin care products that are not prescribed by a doctor are completely safe to use during pregnancy and while nursing. You can read more about this on The Klog.

Having said that, we always recommend speaking with your doctor and taking the precautionary measures you see fit throughout your pregnancy. We want you to feel assured that you’re using only the right products for your precious little one!

Q - My Vitamin C product has turned yellow. Is this normal?

Yes, it’s completely normal! In fact, turning yellow is Vitamin C's natural process of oxidization - all Vitamin C products will gradually oxide and turn yellow over time. This means the effectiveness of Vitamin C products diminishes over a period of time, but it is not harmful to continue using on your skin in any way. We recommend keeping Vitamin C products, along with other products containing actives, out of sunlight and direct heat so you can keep them fresh as long as possible.

Q - Why don’t you have a 10-step Korean Skin Care set for Sensitive skin?

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to provide recommendations for sensitive skin types that guarantee no breakouts or irritation. Everyone's skin is different, and skin sensitivity can be triggered by many different factors, depending on the person.

Q - Can I use these products if I’m a male?

1000% yes. Whatever the outer packaging may look like, the ingredients and the formulas inside are not gender-specific. Nor are they age or ethnicity-specific for that matter. Korean skin care works for everyone not because it’s specifically meant for Korean or Asian skin but because it’s meant for skin in general, which we all have!

Q - What brand or product is all-natural or organic?

For a product to be truly 100% organic, it would also be entirely free of preservatives. Unfortunately, many companies mislabel their organic products—if a product was entirely organic, it would also go bad pretty quickly. As a result, you should be vigilant of any beauty products labeled as 100% organic. No industry standards or regulations are in place for organic skincare.

However, you’ll be happy to know that many Korean beauty brands do focus on using natural and gentle ingredients in their formulas.

Q - Why isn’t the K-Beauty brand I love not on Soko Glam?
