Skin care is trial and error. I only seriously consider recommendations from friends who have similar skin type as I do. This applies to makeup too. Foundations, blushes and eyeshadows can really look terrible on me if it doesn’t suit my skin type.
The Secret Right after cleansing, I immediately mist my face with a hydrating toner or essence. It must be done within 5 seconds of cleansing and drying the skin. Every second counts because if I wait too long, I feel my skin is not as bouncy or hydrated.
