The Tutorial: Lisa Eldridge Shares Her Korean Beauty Haul

I’m a huge, huge fan of Lisa Eldridge. She’s accomplished so much already and is beyond talented! Besides working with major celebrities, she helped create and design Shiseido’s makeup line, was the creative director for Boots, and this year was recently named the Makeup Creative Director for Lancome. Very inspiring and many kudos to you Lisa!

When I say Korean beauty trends are going mainstream, that’s no exaggeration. It’s not a one-hit wonder that will disappear like Gangnam Style did. The influence, trends and R&D is real folks, and we’re seeing it with Lancome’s launch of their own version of the cushion compact. There is definitely more to come. If someone as influential as Lisa Eldridge is taking the time to go beauty exploring in Seoul to truly understand the Korean beauty trends and products, you know that Korean-influenced beauty is here to stay. To know that Korea is making such a big difference in the global beauty space is just… phenomenal.
I feel like calling up my mom and dad (lol). Proud and excited is an understatement!

I’m super intrigued by the new Moonshot brand– will definitely be checking that brand out when I’m in Seoul next!
