The Sustainable Cleansing Pad Set

I've had the pads over a year. They stain easily and never come clean in the wash. I am embarrassed to leave them in the counter when guests visit as it looks like I have a container of dirty makeup wipes out. They also don't remove makeup as well. It takes a ton of product and at least 3 wipes to remove my face. And I don't wear a ton of makeup, just skin tint and eyeliner. In comparison, I have some bamboo cotton pads from amazon that can remove all my makeup with just water on one pad (except for waterproof mascara that requires remover). The sokoglam pads were twice the price of the amazon ones and work poorly.

I bought these because I'm trying to be more ecofriendly with my makeup and skincare products. These are pretty straightforward and will do the job.

I find I only really use these for removing makeup. They're a bit large and too absorbent to use with toners (I prefer to just use my hands to lightly tap product into my skin instead). It's nice that they come with a washing/storage bag, and so far they've held up well after a few washes.

These are okay cotton pads. Smoother than the texture you would get with disposables, if you prefer the light exfoliation. After one wash they already got a little wavy, and the tags stick out, but still function well. I used the net bag they came in to wash them as well, and about half of them escaped during wash, hahaha. So I will have to use one with a zipper. Unsure if worth the price, but I am always glad to add a reusable item to my drawer.
