Koolsol Ultra Light Invisible Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50

Been looking for a mineral sunscreen that is not so thick - I really like the consistency, texture, packaging, and the way it wears. The smell is horrible, someone mentioned wet dog and I think that is accurate. Or maybe a sneaker after you wore it all day with no socks. Not the best way to start your morning but I started holding my breath after putting it on and that seems to help. The smell seems to go away after it dries.

I like this sunscreen because it's Mineral and has SPF 50. It also has no white cast. My favorite part is that it's pretty mattifying even more so than other sunscreens that claim to be matte. At first it does look oily especially after just putting on moisturizer, but if you let it set, it dries up well. Sometimes I don't even need to use powder.

I was so excited to try this and a little worried about the reviews that said it smelled bad, but I gave the sunscreen the benefit of the doubt and bought it anyway. Boy, was I wrong to do that. The product actually smells like wet dog. It’s horrid. Not only that but the smell literally lasts all day long. A slight breeze would blow and I would start gagging from the smell. I know this sounds over the top but I’ve never experienced a product that smelled this bad. If you can get past the disgusting smell, the product actually works quite well, leaving very little white cast if at all. I hope this company can change for formulation or remove whatever is causing this rancid odor because I would love to try the product again if they can just get rid of that.
