Panthenol 10 Skin Smoothing Shield Cream

I'm a firm believer in Korean skincare, and have been using it for over 2 years with great results for my dry skin in my 40s. I also personally love the brand, and I've tried a bunch of products from them so far. Their ingredients are always great, and if you run it through the Yuka app that rates products based on their harm to humans and environment, this one rates at 93 out of 100. There's no artificial fragrance added and all the ingredients look pretty good. This is a moisturizer, which means you apply it at the last stage, or if you have dry skin like me, before your facial oil. It applies and absorbs easily, might work as is without the facial oil for people with combination to oily skin. But for someone like me with dry skin and on tretinoin, you have to apply facual oil as the last layer to seal everything in. Overall, not disappointed at all, and looking forward to finishing the tube.

I'm on my third tube. . . The panthenol content is 10% here, compared to 5% in La Ro* Posay, so the hydration is no joke. I started taking isotretinoin for acne, and this medication makes your skin incredibly dry and thins the skin barrier. Having experienced this before, I've been diligently applying this panthenol cream. While my lips are still very dry, my skin doesn't feel dry at all. . . It doesn't feel heavy when applied and absorbs very lightly. Highly recommended!!!
