Etude House SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream uses 93% naturally derived ingredients and minimal ingredients to balance, hydrate, and soothe skin with every use. Panthenol, a skin-benefitting compound closely related to Vitamin B5, delivers deep hydration while madecassoside, derived from Centella asiatica, repairs skin damage. Sunflower seed oil and shea butter also combine to nourish skin from within, keeping skin smooth and soft. With a low pH and free of potential irritants like fragrance, artificial color, and parabens, this cream will strengthen skin barrier and bring your skin back to health.

    I’m really sad that they changed the formula. Unfortunately, this caused small red spots on my face. If you have sensitive skin, I suggest doing a test patch before using it all over your face.

    Not as hydrating as name insinuates

    I have very dry skin. I have used many moisturizers and this one doesn’t seem to do the trick for me!

    Very moisturizing!

    I really liked this cream! My skin felt very moisturized--but not greasy or oily. There was no scent, and my very sensitive skin appreciated the gentle barrier of protection it created. I also liked that the cream absorbed quickly. Using this in both my morning and evening skincare routines, I didn't experience any breakouts or rash, and it was light enough to use under my makeup. I will purchase this again!

    New formula

    I’ve been using this moisturizer for years as my holy grail but the new formula is thinner and not as moisturizing. If anything it now irritates my skin. :( Big shame.

    New formula is not great

    This was my HG rescue cream. I got the updated packaging in the most recent order and immediately thought I’d ordered the wrong thing when the product came out thinner and lighter. It’s not as rich or soothing, and it seems to be the cause of dehydrated, irritated skin. Twas then that I saw it had apparently been reformulated. I am sad, but at least I still have my Dear, Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream to limp me along until I find something new for winter.
