OSTHMANTHUS?! WHAT?? OK: it doesn't smell *exactly* like osthmanthus, aka tea olive, but this hair oil has a still has a lovely, fragrant, perfume. The real plant is heavenly and I appreciate the company's attempt to replicate. I once met a Chinese woman in a garden who was searching ONLY for osthmanthus, and this was because the city or town in china where she attended college had streets lined with the bushes. It is an addictive scent, connected to memory and place, and something people search for, so do you want your hair to smell like this? I say yes!! it helps with frizz also:)
