There is too much product buildup on the applicator so it can be hard to get a smooth application over your brows. Also in my experience after giving this a few chances it does cause some flaking

I LOVE this stuff. I have naturally thick, full eyebrows, but they can be a little wild. This does the trick in every kind of weather and activity.
You'll notice there are reviews about the application product that say it's too gel-like or the hold is too strong. I disagree, I think that's a skill issue. AND I will admit it did take me a little practice and trial and error to get it right, but there's truly no more reliable product for my fellow full brow sibs.
My method:
-Comb brows up, no shaping, just up at first.
- Using the wand, gently apply the product starting from the lid and moving upwards - following the direction the brows were combed. Be sure to apply even less pressure as you swipe upward.
- Do a gentle press and smush with your finger tips to get the product "in there".
- Using the bristle side of the comb, shape them as you like. I mostly smooth the top edges into line and tame the tips.
- Let it dry/set.
You'll get the hang of it, and you'll never want to use anything else!

Ignore naysayers, this is SO GOOD!! But I do agree that less is more; I like using one swipe on each side and dispersing the pomade with a different spoolie. I have big unruly brows that always move, and this is the first product that keeps them in place all day. Will be repurchasing when the time comes!
