Add to your existing routine for an additional boost of hydration and calm - this ampoule is particularly beneficial due to the patented N4 Complex, which contains 4 different gentle plant extracts to deliver and lock in hydration.
N4 Complex includes 4 traditional herbs and is rich in houttuynia cordata extract to calm and hydrate, as well as licorice root extract to soothe and brighten.
The formula also boasts a Jeju phytomarine extract (Hijiki), vitamin-rich marine extracts fermented with sea water from the Jeju island region, with potent anti-inflammatory benefits. Amino-Balance further supports and strengthens the skin barrier, which is especially beneficial for improving the look of redness and sensitivity.

Nothing is particularly bad about this this serum, but it's not doing anything amazing. Would use as a light option for daytime, but if you are looking for a hydrating nighttime serum, I would skip it. Love the brand Acwell, but was a little disappointed w/ the results.

The ampoule is feels light and having dry skin, I definitely need to layer it with another serum to actually feel hydrated. I think it works best as a layering product if you need something extra in your routine. Not sure if it brightened my skin but if it did then it was subtle.
I felt that the description was a little misleading because I didn’t think this was “ultra-hydrating” given that you must layer with more product to get the best benefits. Maybe it’s just not the best for dry skin? However, I do err on the more sensitive side and was happy that it did not give me a reaction. And the extra bit of hydration was nice for my skin but I feel like there are other products out there that are better.

I had dehydrated skin for a long time without realizing it - I always thought it was just dry because dry and dehydrated skin present the same (dry). Dry skin is treated with oil/ceramides, while dehydrated skin needs water. No amount of oil improved my skin's hydration, however this little serum completely changed my skin! My skin is back to a normal water content and is dewy and lovely, and my barrier is restored. This serum is excellent for dehydrated skin - I've tried other water based serums but this is my favorite, I'm on my 5th bottle with no plans of stopping. I highly recommended IF your skin is dehydrated. I've seen a few reviews saying it didn't work for them - could be that they need oil not water. If you feel like your skin is dry but nothing helps, give this serum a try!
