Vitamin C Glow Mask

I've been using this mask once a week for about a month now, and I'm genuinely impressed. The texture is a creamy gel that spreads easily without feeling heavy, and it has a light, fresh citrus scent that isn't overpowering, which is a nice change from masks that smell like a perfume counter.

The results are what won me over. After rinsing, my skin looks noticeably brighter and feels smooth and hydrated rather than tight or stripped. Even with just weekly use, some of my dark spots from old breakouts have started to fade, and my complexion looks more even overall. That "lit from within" glow the packaging promises? It actually delivers, at least for a few hours after each use.

A few minor gripes keep it from five stars. There's a slight tingle on application, which is normal for vitamin C but might bother very sensitive skin, so I'd recommend patch testing first. The jar packaging also isn't ideal, since vitamin C degrades with air and light exposure; a pump or tube would keep the formula more stable. And you do need to be diligent with SPF afterward, though that's true of any vitamin C product.

This is a very nice face mask, especially if you have somewhat sensitive skin. Usually clay masks get really tight and dry, are hard to wash off, and strip the skin. Add vitamin C and this could be really irritating. But this mask is creamy and stays put, and after 15 or 20 minutes, it was still this texture. Maybe if I had left it on longer it would have eventually dried? There is no scent, it rinses off easily, and although it doesn't strip the skin, you still definitely need to follow it with a moisturizer.
