This is a hydrating product that makes my skin feel good. The consistency is slightly thicker than the First Treatment Essence, which I like. I feel fresh, and I think it's helped brighten my skin a little. Been using it for a few weeks.

When I applied the Red Algae Treatment for the first time, my face immediately lit up like a light bulb! It was that quick. I had bought the Red Algae and the First Treatment Essence at the same time because I couldn't decide. Since then, I've tried both and it's obvious that the Red Algae is the better fit for my skin (mature, dry). Moving forward, I'll repurchase the Red Algae and use this as my go-to essence. My skin has responded so well to it.

Every so often my regimen needs a revamp and so I usually add in a hydrating layer of something of the Korean skincare line. I love Missha and have been using it for years. This red algae essence caught my eye as I had just recently read of an expensive skincare line and their ingredient that stood out was algae. I’m so glad I tried this! It pulled the rest of my skincare layers out of the lazy fog that they’ve been in and helped everyone mingle and hydrate my face!
